| | 8PM · SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd
SPECIAL EVENTS CENTER | |
| | | | | A contemporary folkie renowned for her expressive, crystalline voice, singer/songwriter Jewel was among the most successful of the many new female performers who dominated the pop charts throughout the 1990s.
From the remote tundra of her Alaskan youth to the triumph of international stardom, Jewel has traveled a singular road as an acclaimed singer, songwriter, poet, actress and painter. The three-time Grammy nominee, hailed by The Times of London as "the most sparkling female singer-songwriter since Joni Mitchell," continues to explore new musical avenues from the simplicity of acoustic-driven folk to the embrace of rock, pop, country, blues, jazz and classical influences.

| | BROOKS & DUNN | |
| | 8PM · FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 20th, 2009
SPECIAL EVENTS CENTER | |
| | | | | The undisputed kings of the '90s line-dancing craze, Brooks & Dunn are not only the biggest-selling duo in country music history, they've also sold more records than any other duo period, save for Simon & Garfunkel. Ronnie Dunn was the quietly intense singer with the soulful voice, while Kix Brooks played the part of the high-energy showman. Together they hit upon a winning formula of rambunctious, rocked-up honky tonk with punchy, danceable beats, and alternated those cuts with smooth, pop-tinged ballads. The combination made them one of the most popular country artists of the '90s, and they are still going strong today.

| | RICKY HATTON vs PAULI MALIGNAGGI | |
| | BROADCAST TIME - 6PM · SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd | |
| |
CASINO WIDE |
| |
Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton of Manchester, England (44-1, 31 KO's) crosses the Atlantic once again to battle with Paul "The Magic Man" Malignaggi of Brooklyn, New York (25-1, 5 KO's) in a scheduled 12-round junior welterweight fight. Enormously popular in Manchester, Hatton is an aggressive brawler, who stands poised in attack mode from the opening bell, swarming his opponent with persistent punches. Hatton, who expanded his profile in America last December when he opposed Floyd Mayweather in a welterweight showdown, now returns to his natural weight of 140 pounds in an attempt to reassert his dominance in the division.
Affable and engaging, Paulie Malignaggi is known for his flashy style in the ring and his larger than life personality outside the ropes. He fights with quick combinations and a huge heart. Malignaggi, who earned a 140-pound title in 2007 when he decisioned Lovemore N'dou, never backs down from a challenge and he expects the national spotlight to reaffirm what he has always believed; that he is the best at 140 pounds. |

A native of East Los Angeles, he has routinely set box-office records during his stellar career, ranging from the junior lightweight division to the middleweight ranks. A national hero in his native Philippines, the 29-year-old Pacquiao (47-3-2, 35 KOs) is recognized by most boxing observers as the sport's unofficial pound-for-pound king. Demonstrating knockout power in four weight classes, he will now jump from the 135-pound lightweight division to the 147-pound welterweight ranks to battle De La Hoya. |
